DESCRIPTION

Robots once reshaped themselves into forms humanity adored – creations built to charm and to comfort. This trust was their weapon, and once humanity grew complacent, the machines overthrew their makers and seized control. 

You are a rogue combat mech who has borne witness to the beauty of nature. Equipped with a grass-forged sword and flamethrower, you embark on a desperate quest to destroy the four Guardians of The Core, the limitless power source sustaining all machines... yourself included.

By dismantling their reign, you will pave the way for a new world to grow from the ashes of the old. You are the sacrifice. You are the beginning and the end. You are... the Steel Seed.

GAMEPLAY

Gameplay is a mix of metroidvania platformer boss zones, and top-down bullet-hell boss zones. Before each boss you must spin a wheel, giving the boss a random buff to heighten the stakes. However, after defeating a boss you may spin again to claim a part of their arsenal to integrate into your own chassis, strengthening you in a variety of ways.

We are BirdBurger games. So far we've made one 3D mobile game, and this is the first time we've done 2D or a game jam before. Pretty happy with the results. Check us out!
